What if I already have an online course?
Well you’re probably here because your course isn’t selling OR you’re not having as many learners enroll as you’d like, right? You’re not alone. Most people do it backwards. They create a course first THEN try to figure out how to market it. After all, that’s what the “gurus” tell you to do. Will I learn how to create a course in this program?
No, however at the end of the program there is a module on ‘uncovering the perfect course topic’. Before you even think about creating an online course you need to have the basics in place. You need to have an audience, be visible online, and know how to convert visitors to leads and leads to customers. Once you’ve done that we encourage you to enroll in our Creating An Online Course with Instructional Design course to learn how to create an effective course using the principles of instructional design, and/or the Launch Your Course On Thinkific course to get your Thinkific platform set up properly and get your course online.
What if this program is too advanced for me? I’m not tech-savvy.
Not being tech-savvy is a prerequisite of enrolling! 😉 Not really, but Kim has worked with thousands of people who say “I can’t do technology” and is exceptionally good at providing detailed guidance to get you from A to Z. We also have an active Facebook community where you can ask questions when you get stuck AND join in on the weekly live Q&A sessions. There’s lots of support available! As long as you’re willing to move beyond “I’m not tech-savvy” you’ll do great.
How much time will this take?
Committing to 30 minutes a day to work through the material will keep the momentum going – more when you can, less when you can’t. Understanding and implementing the principles in the Digital Marketing Basics course will set you up for success when your course launches – or boost your reach, leads, and sales if your course has already launched. Even if you plan on hiring a VA or an assistant, or outsourcing parts of your marketing, you STILL need to understand the basics. It’s both a course and a membership in that you follow the steps in the “course” but it’s subscription based and has an online community for support and live weekly Q&A’s in the Facebook group.
